The Nokia Lumia 2520 managed to turn heads when it was lunched along with the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 back in October and while it has already gone on sale in the US through multiple carriers, the next stop for the Finnish company’s (soon Microsoft’s) Windows RT slate is the UK. The device will arrive a few days earlier than the 6-inch 1520 phablet which is scheduled to ship starting December 6.
The interesting bit here is that the Lumia 2520 is going to be a John Lewis exclusive in the UK. The retailer will stock the device on December 4. The tablet features a 10.1-inch 1080p display backed by the ClearBlack technology and a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 with enhanced outdoor readability.
At 8.9mm thick, the Lumia 2520 packs a great deal of high end specifications. It has a quad core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm doing the heavy lifting with 2GB of RAM. For storage, there’s 32GB of flash memory and a microSD card slot for expansion. Nokia has also included a 6.7MP camera with Zeiss optics and a 8120mAh battery that can deliver up to 11 hours of activity.
