Putting across the key factor as affordability, Nokia rolls out three new handsets. The Nokia C2-02, C2-03 and C2-06 form a part of the latest products to emerge from the company.
The C2-03 equips Nokia’s unique Dual SIM capabilities including personalizing up to five SIM cards, an Easy Swap option while the C2-02 is a single SIM version that outfits a similar feature set. The Nokia C2-06 splashes in fresh colors with a clean, smooth finish. All phones feature Nokia Maps for Series 40. Users can view maps and plan routes even in an offline mode.
Mary McDowell, the head of Nokia’s Mobile Phones business unit, said, “These phones all offer a web, maps and messaging experience second to none in the market. And with the choice of a touch screen or a keypad, we really have made everything available and easy to use in an affordable phone that comes in both Dual or single SIM options.”
These handsets tout to put forth swift internet browsing using the data compression technology of the Nokia Browser. They also bundle up stereo FM radio, media player and expandable memory up to 32 GB.
“We want the web to be easy to access, fast and affordable for all,” continued McDowell. “The technology behind the Nokia Browser means that consumers, especially those new to the mobile internet, can get the information they need quickly, as the Nokia Browser serves up relevant local content – making the whole experience more personal and enjoyable.”
The Nokia C2-02 and C2-03 come at an estimated retail price of EUR 75 each, while the C2-06 attaches a price tag of EUR 80. These devices will hit the market in the third quarter of 2011.
