Nokia Batman, a.k.a Lumia 1320, might go official today, images leaked [Update]

Professional leaker @evleaks has struck again, this time, revealing what is said to be the official press images of the Nokia Lumia 1320 that’s codenamed Batman. There isn’t anything concrete about the device as yet and very little can be told from the images which have made it to the internet, but the good news is that we’re just moments away from seeing the phone go official.

What you see below are the first renders of the handset which have gone public. By the looks of it, the device might fall in the phablet category and the interesting bit here is that there’s an extra column of tiles in the UI.

If you aren’t aware as yet, this feature was recently announced with the Windows Phone update 3 and is limited to devices with full HD screens. Considering this, the Lumia 1320 will be larger than 5 inches and it could be a variant of the 929 which is headed to Verizon. A 1080p display also means that there could be a powerful processor under the hood.

Nokia will also launch the 6-inch Lumia 1520 phablet today which is reported to retail for roughly $819 unlocked or $299 on contract from AT&T. This phone will have a Snapdragon 800 SOC, a 20MP PureView camera and 2GB of RAM. We’re also expecting to see the Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet make an appearance at the Nokia World. The slate will be priced at $500 and have a 10-1-inch FHD touchscreen with a Snapdragon 800 processor.

Over the past few months, Nokia was also rumored to be working on a Lumia 825 phablet and new accessories. Stay tuned for an update as the new devices will go official soon.
