The Nokia Asha 305 and Asha 311 phones have finally dropped anchor in India. These feature-rich devices belonging to the affordable range from the Finnish manufacturer, come with touchscreens and allow users to access the internet on the move.
First up is the Nokia Asha 311 that employs a 1GHz processor and flaunts a scratch-resistant 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen. This stylish device with a 3.2MP camera, lands drenched in hues of red, grey and white. Additionally, it has been pre-loaded with applications such as Nokia Maps, Nokia Browser and Facebook in addition to Angry Birds.
The dual SIM Asha 305 featuring Easy Swap, dons a 3-inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen on its front panel. The Bluetooth-enabled phone boasts of dual band connectivity and a 2MP rear-facing snapper capable of capturing still shots as well as videos. The handset will be made available in dark grey, red, mid blue and silver white shades.

Furthermore, the integrated Nokia Browser 2.0 claims to cut down on data consumption by up to 85 percent as it utilizes cloud acceleration technology. The Download Manager of this browser comes in handy for dealing with external multimedia content. Users will also have the option to download 40 EA games to their Asha phones, which include Tetris, Bejeweled, Fifa 2012 and NFS: The Run.
The Nokia Asha 305 and Asha 311 prices in India are Rs. 5,029 and Rs. 7,139, respectively. The former is already up for sale in the country, while the latter will make its debut on August 12.
