Nokia Asha 230, Nokia 220 affordable feature phones unveiled at the MWC 2014

The Nokia Asha 230 and the Nokia 220 internet-ready device are two feature phones that have been introduced for budget conscious people at the Finnish company’s press conference held today at the MWC 2014 in Barcelona. Also, the Nokia X family based on AOSP went official along with these two gadgets.

Nokia Asha 230 Dual SIM:

According to the company, this gadget is the cheapest full touch Asha phone till date. It runs the Asha software platform and brings all the features associated with it, including Fastlane. The device is said to be compatible with social and instant messaging apps like WhatsApp, Line and WeChat as well. It has limited onboard memory, but users get the option of saving their content on the cloud, as the company offers 7GB of free OneDrive storage.

Nokia Asha 230

Nokia 220:

The Nokia 220 is an internet-enabled feature phone that doesn’t break the bank. It features an alphanumeric keypad which is said to be splash- and dust-resistant along with a 2.4-inch screen. This handset has been pre-loaded with the Nokia Xpress browser, Bing Search and apps like Facebook and Twitter amongst others. It comes in single and dual SIM variants.

Price and availability:
