Shutterbugs on the lookout for a handset that caters to all their photography needs can catch a glimpse of the Nokia 808 PureView, which strolls into the tech terrain wearing a massive 41-megapixel camera. According to the company, the device is the premier smartphone to include Nokia PureView imaging technologies that offer potential owners exclusive Carl Zeiss optics, high resolution sensors and Nokia developed algorithms. Running on a 1.3GHz processor, it also incorporates the latest Nokia Belle OS with Feature Pack 1 enhancements.

The high resolution 41-megapixel camera complete with new pixel oversampling technology, allows users to comfortably zoom into the picture minus any lack in clarity. Even post zooming, reframing and cropping, the images can further be resized without compromising on vital details. Besides possessing the ability to capture pictures in low-light conditions, it also enables photography enthusiasts to save their handiwork in compact files sizes for sharing via social networking sites as well as MMS and email.

The Nokia 808 PureView further boasts of providing full HD 1080p video recording as well as playback with 4X lossless zoom. It also includes various features such as Nokia Rich Recording and exclusive Dolby Headphone technology. Measuring 123.9 x 60.2 x 13.9 millimeters, the handset tips the scales at just 169g.
