HMD Global has made a number of Nokia phones more affordable in India. The reduction should help the handsets stay competitive in the country as newer devices get launched at similar price points.
Starting with the cheapest of the lot, the 2GB/16GB Nokia 3.1 is still officially selling at Rs 10499, but the 3GB/32GB variant is now Rs 1000 less expensive at Rs 10999 on Nokia’s website. Flipkart is vending the smartphone at Rs 9690 and Rs 10440, respectively.
Nokia 5.1 Price Cut
The 3GB/32GB Nokia 5.1 is next, going for Rs 12999 after a Rs 1500 cut on Nokia’s site. Flipkart is offering it at Rs 12349. Meanwhile, the mid-range 3GB/32GB Nokia 6.1 just got Rs 2000 lighter at Rs 13499 on Nokia’s online store. The 4GB/64GB Nokia 6.1 is cheaper as well, dropping from Rs 17499 to Rs 16499.
Rates are slightly lower over at Flipkart where the 3GB/32GB Nokia 6.1 sells for Rs 12824 and the 4GB/64GB Nokia 6.1 at Rs 15436. This is actually the second time HMD Global has slashed the price of the phone. It arrived in the nation back in April 2018 and then got a Rs 1500 markdown each in August.
