The Nokia 8 has gotten launched in India, making its way to the country more than a month after its international debut. It’s been priced at Rs 36999, quite a bit lower than a direct Euro conversion would suggest.
At Rs 36999, the Nokia 8 will be up against other Snapdragon 835-running dual camera rivals like the OnePlus 5. The latter’s 6GB/64GB option goes for Rs 32999, while its 8GB/128GB variant opts for a Rs 37999 tag. On the other hand, the former is currently available only in a 4GB/64GB configuration, though there are talks of a 6GB/128GB version doing the rounds.
There are a couple of factors that help set the Nokia 8 apart, most prominently its support for a stock Android experience and Bothies feature. The latter relies on a tool called Dual Sight which basically shoots images or videos from both the selfie and rear camera and places them side-by-side.

Nokia’s positioned a 13MP snapper on the front and a 13MP + 13MP combination at the back for this purpose. Another unique factor is the company’s own OZO spatial 360-degree audio tech which utilizes 3 microphones for a more immersive sound experience in 4K video quality.
