Nokia 7 Plus coming to India as an Amazon-exclusive on April 4

Nokia 7 Plus

Nokia is hosting an event on April 4, but it hasn’t revealed which phones will be making its debut. Most bets are on the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 (2018), and Nokia 8110 4G.

Here to make things more interesting is a leak by Twitter tipster Ishan Agarwal who discovered mentions of the Nokia 7 Plus in Amazon India’s source code. It’s clear that the phone is going to be sold exclusively via the site. Some are suggesting it’ll be sold in a flash sale format, but the screenshot leaked doesn’t explicitly confirm this.

What is confirmed is that the Nokia 7 Plus will be sold in a 4GB of RAM variant and have the same 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ screen and 12MP + 13MP dual cameras seen in the original. Price details can’t be found, but it should stick to around the same rate as the European model at EUR 399 (approx Rs 31960).

The other possible candidates for the April 4 event include the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 6 (2018), and Nokia 8110 4G. The first is the brand’s flagship and will be replacing the Nokia 8. It’s gotten quite a few upgrades such as dual curving sides, a Pro Camera mode for the 12 + 13MP rear snappers, wireless charging, and IP67 certification.

The Nokia 8 Sirocco is priced at EUR 749 (roughly Rs 60000). On the more affordable side of things is the Nokia 6 (2018). The 2017 edition recently got a discount, so its successor should be arriving on April 4. The new model costs EUR 279 (about Rs. 22350), making it a bit more expensive than its previous version.

The Nokia 8110 4G is the only feature phone of the bunch, ready to inspire nostalgia with its classic sliding design and yellow color. It goes for EUR 79 (approx Rs 6330).
