The Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to arrive on October 4 during HMD Global’s London event. It may not be long before the handset arrives in other markets though, because the brand has just announced an October 11 event in India.
Naturally, HMD Global isn’t disclosing which phone or phones it’s planning to unveil on October 11. Whatever comes out on October 4 will probably show up there. Possible candidates include the Nokia 7.1 Plus, Nokia 7.1, and Nokia 9. The first has shown up repeatedly in leaks, the second popped up recently, and the third is most probably making its debut at the MWC 2019 in February.
Nokia 7.1 Plus Possible Features
The Nokia 7.1 Plus is probably the international version of the Nokia X7. The former is going to be part of Google’s Android One program, while the latter will likely feature a customized version of Android. Even though the handset is arriving after the launch of Android Pie, leaks indicate that it’ll run Oreo by default.
In terms of specifications, the Nokia 7.1 Plus recently got spotted at TENAA with a nearly complete list of features and images. The device might sport a 6.18-inch 2246 x 1080p screen with a notch, just like the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus before it. It may be available in blue, red, silver and brown color options.

As for photography, there could be a 13MP + 12MP dual camera combo at the back. A 20MP snapper might handle selfie duties. A Snapdragon 710 processor and 3400mAh battery will probably power all this, hand-in-hand with 4GB of RAM or 6GB of RAM.
Speculation indicates there’s going to be a 4GB/64GB variant and a 6GB/128GB model of the Nokia 7.1 Plus. There aren’t any price details out yet, but it should stay within the sub-Rs 35000 range.
