Nokia smartphones have at long last returned to India after an extended absence away as a Microsoft subsidiary. The Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 will face fierce competition in the nation, but might just prevail through a combination of brand loyalty, pure Android Nougat, regular updates, affordable costs, and high-quality designs.
The plastic-bodied Nokia 3 serves as the entry-level model, getting slapped with a Rs 9499 price tag. It’ll go up for sale on June 16 via offline outlets. The all-metal Nokia 5 ups the ante to Rs 12899 and is set to go up for pre-orders starting from July 7 via physical outlets. The Nokia 6 is the most expensive of the lot at Rs 14999.
The Nokia 6 sets itself apart as the only device to be sold online exclusively via Amazon India. Registrations for the phone’s flash sale will begin on July 14, with the actual date of the sale unknown as of now. Amazon Prime members who purchase the smartphone via their Amazon Pay balance will get a Rs 1000 discount.
