Claiming to pack in as much excitement as Hollywood delivers, the Wii Shop Channel has added to action-packed classics to its Virtual Console and one to the WiiWare.
The new games from Nintendo added to Wii Shop Channel will release at 9 am Pacific time every Monday. The new games for this week include Helix for the WiiWare and YS Book I & II and Samurai Showdown 2 for Virtual Console.
Players can redeem Wii Points to download the games from Internet. The Wii points are available at the Wii Shop Channel and also at retail outlets.
The all new Helix from Ghostfire Games can be downloaded for 1,000 Wii points. The one-player music video game promises mesmerizing and eye-popping background visuals with incredible music and exciting moves. The 26 tracks featuring in the game can be enjoyed across three difficulty levels, in which the players can try to unlock the game and have fun with the game. Helix has been rated as E for Everyone.
The Ys Book I & II, rated as E for Everyone- Mild Fantasy Violence is a game based on the adventures of Adol Christin, a young, red-haired swordsman on the island of Esteria and his quest to solve the mystery of Ys. Players will have to fight off monsters in the cave and towers using their physical and magical powers in the game as Adol. With amazing special effects and fully orchestrated soundtracks, the game is available for 800 Wii Points.
Then there is the Samurai Showdown 2 from NEOGEO that is rated as T for Teen-blood, language, tobacco reference and violence. The game features 15 samurais following their individual quests. The strategy filled game released in 1994 has Cham Cham, one of the new characters voiced by the voice actress Reiko Chiba.
