Nikon has announced to unveil its new DLSR camera called D60. the new 10.2 MP camera features Nikon’s 3D Colour Matrix Metering II system and three-point AF system.

Besides, the camera will allow users to adjust Image quality, Image size, White balance and also exposure compensation. Moreover users can convert a series of consecutive pictures into a short movie, thanks to Stop-motion feature.
When we talk about the DSLR cameras, lenses have to come in picture. The new Nikon D60 camera is compatible with AF-S and AF-I NIKKOR lenses. And battery is capable of clicking around 500 shots in a go.
“The Nikon D60 makes stepping up to digital SLR photography easy for anyone, but is also a wonderful choice for photo enthusiasts looking for remarkable performance in a compact package,” said Edward Fasano, general manager for marketing, SLR System Products at Nikon.
The Nikon’s D60 DSLR will be available for sale in the US from March 2008 at the estimated price of $549.95.
