Nikon has launched two new digital cameras and a DSLR camera in the US market. The Coolpix S52 and wireless-enabled S52c digital cameras boast 9 megapixels resolution and 3x optical zoom. While the P80 DSLR camera features a 10-megapixel sensor and 18x zoom.
The S52 and S52c are successor models of the S51 and S51c respectively. Both the new cameras feature 3-inch LCD screen. Besides, the S52 and S52c feature Face-priority AF, Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting and Expeed Processor. Also users can create an in-camera slide show with iTunes music uploaded.
The only difference between the S52 and S52c models is the wireless capability. The S52c features Wi-Fi connectivity, through which users will be able to upload their photos onto photo sharing websites directly through a camera.
The Coolpix S52 and S52c are expected to be available in the US market at $249.95 and $279.95 respectively.
On the other hand the P80 DSLR camera is equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD monitor, Improved Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting. Besides, the camera also features Sport Continuous Mode delivering high-speed continuous shooting settings. The Sport Continuous Mode can capture as many as 30 consecutive pictures at 13 fps.
Five movie modes with sound, plus time-lapse movie mode, Time zone function for easy setting of multiple locations and Macro shooting from as close as 1 cm are some of the other features of the P80 camera. Furthermore it incorporates 50MB of internal memory and SDHC card compatibility for more storage.
The P80 DSLR camera will hit the UK stores on April 25. Interested buyers can purchase the camera at a price of £299.99.
