The Nikon Coolpix L620 has geared up for its arrival in the US and will be made available in September through authorized retailers across the nation for a price of $249.95. Users can expect the Nikon Coolpix compact camera to tag along a versatile Nikkor lens, an 18.1MP sensor, an ergonomic form factor and multiple filters and effects amongst a number of other things.
Belonging to the comfort long zoom camera lineup, the Nikon Coolpix L620 is simple to use and employs the 14x optical glass lens with a focal length of 25mm. Thus, it makes the device capable of capturing pictures from a distance. And as an 18.1MP CMOS sensor has been thrown into the mix, photographers can expect it to render detailed images with better clarity. Another advantage of the device in question is its low-light imaging capabilities and the company claims that the snapper can take sharper photos even in dark conditions, thanks to its wide ISO range of up to 3200 ISO.
And what’s more, the Nikon gadget boasts of the lens-shift VR Image Stabilization to do away with the blurry effect due to hand or camera shake. A dedicated recording button has been placed on the Coolpix L620 to make full HD 1080p movies by simply clicking a button. Its Scene Modes, Easy Auto mode and other functions like red eye fix, face priority AF, quick retouch, filter effects and more work towards enhancing the captured images. An HVGA 3-inch LCD monitor has also been embedded on this shooter to compose and preview photos.
