Nikon has announced to introduce its new digital SLR camera named D90. It is the successor of the D80 camera. The camera sports a 12.3 megapixel sensor with EXPEED image processor which promises to deliver images with fine details, smooth tones, and rich colors.
The D90 camera comes with a 3-inch, approx. 920k-dot high-density color LCD screen. In addition, it includes three contrast-detect AF modes that allows photographers to achieve focus on any point in the frame which ultimately results in a greater variety of composition.
Apart from that the camera is equipped with Scene Recognition System, Easy-to-use Live View mode and Picture Control System. While photographers can also use Advanced Scene Modes including Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Sports and Night Portrait for better photography.
Not only images but the D90 is also capable of capturing movies. The camera incorporates DX-format sensor ensuring high quality of the videos. Nikon claims that its latest camera is able to maintain the video quality even in low-light situations.
Nikon has not disclosed the pricing and availability details of its D90 camera.
