New iPhone 1.1.2 Jailbreak Software Released; Hacked already

Apple iPhone A 160MB update has been posted by Apple for its iPhone device, thereby upgrading its software now to version 1.1.2.

The latest 1.1.2 update is the very first iPhone software that offers International supports, and is being distributed concurrently with the phone’s European sale. In addition, you can adjust region formats for date, time and phone numbers.

Also, the new update will display the phone’s battery charge in iTunes, a new “Custom” section for ringtones, and a few other changes.

Further on, if you are one of those who was just about to perform some weird malicious activity than STOP right away, as Apple has already patched a Safari TIFF exploit that could be used to “jailbreak” the iPhone, in other words to unlock the device and install third-party applications not sanctioned by Apple, under version 1.1.1.

All the same, while this story was posted, there was news doing the rounds of the internet that stated that update 1.1.2 has already been cracked.
