It was just yesterday that concrete details about the all new HTC One’s dual cameras were published online and now, what’s said to be the official specs of the handset have also made it to the internet. With just a week left for the handset’s launch, there may not be any major surprises left for the Tawianese manufacturer to showcase at the unveiling.
GSM Arena is once again the source of today’s information and they’ve managed to get a detailed list of specs as well as a sales guide which highlights various features of the smartphone. The all new HTC One will indeed have a 5-inch 1080p screen and the processor ticking away on the inside will be a quad core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801.
There’s still no exact information about the resolution of the dual cameras, but we can confirm that one of them (or both) will have the UltraPixel lens which should be the same as the one on last year’s model. Sadly, the all new HTC One might not be able to capture videos in 4K resolution, putting it behind the Xperia Z2 and the Galaxy S5. On the upside, the front-facing snapper will be improved to a 5MP lens.
The all new HTC One will be 9.35mm thick and it weighs 160 grams. Apart from this, the phone will have a 2600mAh battery, a nano SIM card slot, 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and a microSD card slot. The company has thrown in a barometer, but has chosen to drop FM radio. Where the design is concerned, the phone will be crafted from a single block of aluminum with soft curves.
