After the launch of the stylish Dell Studio Hybrid PC, Dell today extended its Inspiron family with the new Inspiron 518 desktop and Inspiron 13 laptop. Both the latest computing systems promise a solid performance and sport a smart stylish look.
The Inspiron 13 is small sized laptop aimed at students heading back to school. The company claims that the new Inspiron 13 is a great choice for back to school shoppers looking for a small, light, extremely efficient mobile PC. The new laptop features a 13-inch display, capacitive touch media buttons, 8-in-1 media card reader and slot-load DVD drive. Buyers can also go for optional add-ons, which include built-in wireless networking, built-in webcam and Bluetooth connectivity.
Dell will also offer a specially configured version of the Inspiron 13 laptop which will be available at WalMart starting August 3 for the price of $699.
On the other hand the Inspiron 518 desktop is wrapped in a glossy, black colored body which glitters with embedded chrome accents. The desktops innovative design makes a style statement, it looks smart enough to be kept in ones living room.
The Dell Inspiron 518 comes with a top media tray which has two easy-access USB ports for quick MP3 player syncing and cell-phone charging. The family targeted desktop packs in a Gigabit Ethernet, DX10 integrated graphics for casual gaming. You also have a choice to go in for an optional 500GB hard drive and quad core processors.
