Moving away from infusing the market with more and more handsets with the ZenFone branding, Asus has now outed a new device named Live. However, despite it not being a ZenFone, it does grab the appearance and overall aura which smartphones from the said range usually sport.
In fact, its specifications are strikingly similar to those of the ZenFone Go which was launched in India back in September last year. The only major difference between the two is that the Asus Live comes with a built-in TV receiver. This is explained by the fact that this device has been launched in Brazil, where it is quite common for phones to have such a trait.
Besides that, there’s a 5-inch 720p monitor sitting pretty on its front surface and a quad core MediaTek MT6580 processor powering its operations from within. As for the memory of the Asus offering, it relies on 2GB worth of RAM and 16GB worth of storage space which is expandable by means of a microSD card slot.
A clear look at the main specs of the new Asus Live:
– Display: 5-inch, 720p HD
– OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop
– Processor: 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6580
– Memory: 2GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable up to 64GB)
– Cameras: 8MP rear with flash, 2MP front
– Battery: 2070mAh
– Dimensions: 71 x 144.5 x 9.98mm
– Weight: 140gms
The Live has furthermore been blessed with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front snapper. Inside it rests a 2070mAh battery pack which keeps it going in between charging intervals.
