Popular social network site, MySpace has announced the beta launch of MySpace Karaoke. The newest feature on the website is powered by kSolo.
The new MySpace Karaoke will allow users to sing, record and share personalized versions of their favorite songs with the MySpace community.
To use MySpace Karaoke, members will need a microphone and an Internet connection. Karaoke further gives an access to a broad selection of licensed tracks. Also the two options of vocal and instrumental will add more fun for users.
Members can easily browse songs, recordings and performers in a variety of categories including new releases, top artists, most popular, musical genre and more.
Tom Anderson, co-founder and president of MySpace said, “MySpace Karaoke is another great way for people to express themselves, share their talents and personalities, and simply put, have fun!”
MySpace members can sing, record, listen to and save up to ten songs on their personal MySpace Karaoke profile for free. The most recent recording will automatically appear on users’ MySpace profile. Further they can easily share their recordings via bulletins with their friends on MySpace, embed them to their profiles, or even bookmark their favorite recordings in their library
Initially MySpace Karaoke will only be available in the US and will gradually be made available for world wide members.
