The much awaited Nokia Lumia 929 could be just days away as its launch is slated for this month itself. The latest information arrives through multiple sources. Just so you know, this would be the third rumored release timeframe for the smartphone. The previous ones were for November 6 and 21th.
The first leak comes through WPCentral where one of their forum users managed to get his hands on a new image of the smartphone drenched in white. Also, details for the battery’s capacity have been provided, highlighting it to be 2510mAh power house. The user notes that the Nokia Lumia 929 could arrive on Verizon mid to late December. The next leak comes via NPU where multiple retailers have been spotted carrying accessories for the device.
Currently, 2 retailers have a release date set as December 20, while one pegs the accessories for launch on the 6th of this month. None of the details provide any specific date as to when the Nokia Lumia 929 could go official, so we recommend taking this information with a pinch of salt. What we know so far about the smartphone is that it will be a compact version of the 6-inch Lumia 1520.
The main modifications will be the 5-inch 1080p display and the 2510mAh battery, while other specifications should be the same as its larger sibling. You can expect the phone to arrive with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20MP PureView camera with Zeiss optics.
Based on a previous leak, the Lumia 929 could retail for $500 off-contract.
