MSI has unveiled its latest P45-D8 Memory Lover motherboard. The novel feature of the new motherboard is that it is equipped with as many as eight memory slots. Moreover, P45-D8 motherboard is compatible with DDR2 memory as well as advanced DDR3 memory.
With the help of the two memory slots, users can expand the memory up to 16GB by using four DDR2 memory or 8GB by using four DDR3 memory.
The new motherboard is powered by Intel P45 Express chipset and supports Intel Core 2 Extreme / Quad and other multi-core processors with an FSB up to 1600MHz. At the same time ensuring the stability, the MSI’s latest motherboard comes along with the cooling heat-pipe design with high thermal efficiency. This design helps to rule out the heat of the North Bridge and South Bridge quickly.
In addition, the new motherboard is equipped with PCI Express 2.0 x16 graphics card slot, which allows up to twice the bandwidth of current PCI Express slot. Delivering great audio output P45-8D Memory Lover comes with 8-channel high-definition audio codec which can handle multiple sources. Hence users can enjoy 3D games with high-quality sound as well as movies with better sound and visual quality.
Furthermore, the P45-8D Memory Lover also features Memory Identifier and Memory Runner design. The Memory Identifier function offers memory transmission signals and also upgrades the memory compatibility and performance. While the Memory Runner function is set for memory voltage switch. The Memory Runner enhances he ease of overclocking process and ensures the memory can boot successfully on overclocking and over-voltage.
As of now MSI has not disclosed any information regarding pricing and availability of the P45-D8 Memory Lover motherboard.
