The MSI CR41 laptop termed as a ‘multimedia companion,’ acquires steam from the third generation Intel Core processor and is even capable of supporting the Windows 8 platform. Complete with SRS PC Sound to render good quality audio, this stylish and lightweight notebook flaunts a royal bronze tone finish on its metallic body.
Besides a flat metal brushed exterior, the laptop boasts of a crystal diamond finish on its touchpad and a layered texture on the speakers. Its tapering design is said to have been inspired by a sports car. This MSI device has also been embedded with hotkeys that are hidden in the mesh strips above the keyboard to ensure instant execution of commands like ejecting DVDs, putting the screen off and more.
The Intel Core processor with Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 allows smooth multitasking on the laptop, while Intel HM76 takes up the task of rendering clear visuals. Furthermore, the S-Bar positioned towards the top of the screen has been included with shortcuts for instant access to certain OS programs, hardware or other applications pre-installed in the portable computer. And thanks to its Eco engine power saving technology, the notebook coughs up the juice for close to 7.5 hours and its Turbo Battery helps users with the task of keeping battery usage in check.
The Wi-Fi- and Bluetooth 4.0-enabled CR41 comes with an HDMI connector, USB ports, an RJ-45 output, a headphone jack as well as a card reader. And if that’s not enough, it is fitted with a 14-inch HD display of 1366 x 768p resolution. Also, the notebook can accommodate an HDD of up to 720GB capacity and a 1.3MP webcam has been added to the mix.
