We already know that Motorola is working on a new flagship smartphone and guess what the company is planning to call it – The Moto X + 1. Awkward as it sounds, this information comes via a very reliable source. And a banner image of the branding has been posted online as well, by the same leaker.
EvLeaks suggests that the phone is coming soon and in a second tweet, mentioned that the company could go for a leather design. This goes without saying – The wooden finishes will also be amongst the choices and hopefully, Motorola will whip up even more premium options with the Moto X + 1. We’ve got no information on the specs and features, but the company will definitely take things to a new height with the upcoming flagship.

We’re expecting to see the same touchless design with beefy specifications like Snapdragon 800, 3GB of RAM and a 1080p display. Apart from the Moto X + 1, the company is also working on a smartwatch called Moto 360 that’s also going to be designed from premium materials and with a circular form factor for a vintage look. The accessory will feature Google Now voice commands and more. Then there’s the Xplay phablet that will be 6.3 inches wide with specs akin to that of the Xperia Z Ultra from Sony.
Motorola officially confirmed back in January that a successor to its current flagship is in the works with launch targeted at sometime late summer. Where the Moto X + 1 branding is concerned, the company could change it over the course of time.
