The Motorola Moto X Style will be launched in India on October 8, a few months after the device was first announced back in July. The device will be a Flipkart-exclusive for now, with price and availability details set to be given out on the date itself.
Flipkart has put up a dedicated page for the Motorola Moto X Style on its site. People can leave their email IDs to get notifications regarding the phone. It’s being promoted under the term Beautility, with the brand promising a smartphone that gets ready within 15 minutes. This is likely referring to the TurboPower technology the handset comes equipped with.
Motorola on its part has sent out press invites for a launch event on October 8 in New Delhi at 12pm. The reveal of the date comes only a few days after the brand’s Indian Twitter handle started giving out hints about the smartphone. It’s keeping mum on the exact value of the device in the face of repeating queries from fans.
The Moto X Style comes with a range of high-end features, such as its 5.7-inch QHD (1440 x 2560p) screen and 21MP rear camera. The latter is complemented by dual-CCT flash, zero shutter lag and rapid focus. There’s also a 5MP front-facing camera which supposedly takes decent shots even in low-light conditions.
Motorola promises the phone’s 3000mAh battery can survive for up to 30 hours. The aforementioned TurboPower ensures 10 hours of battery life after just 15 minutes of charging. The handset is fueled by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor. It contains 3GB of RAM and ships in 3 memory variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
