The Motorola Moto X is coming, and August 1 has been teased as the date on which it will be officially unveiled by its maker. An event is being held in New York by the manufacturer on the said date, where it is almost certain that the world will get to formally see the Motorola smartphone in action for the first time, following a slew of leaks that have more than given away most of its details.
Ina Fried, who’s an editor over at All Things Digital has revealed through her Twitter account, the invitation she received for the event. Like we said, the Motorola Moto X is a smartphone that has seen a whole lot of leaks prior to its official announcement. We know almost every big detail about it, and hence, confirmation on them from its maker is the only thing that remains to be seen at the August 1 event.
It was just a few days back that a video showcasing the Motorola Moto X on the official YouTube account of Canadian carrier Rogers went live prematurely, before it was taken down immediately. Some folks on the Internet of course managed to grab hold of the clip, and host it. It mentioned that the Motorola Moto X will be exclusive to Rogers in Canada.
Moreover, it also revealed that it will feature an always-on voice command system which will allow users to speak out whatever they wish to get done without having to even unlock the phone. Additionally, a unique pulse notification system on its screen will be granted to the device as well. Its rumored specifications include a Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC, 2GB worth of RAM and a 720p touchscreen display.
We’ll have all the details about the Moto X when it is launched on August 1, so stay tuned.
