Red is the way to go for the Motorola i867 Ferrari which has been created by the company, taking inspiration from the Ferrari 458 sports car. Ready to hit Brazil via Nextel, this Android-powered push-to-talk smartphone boasts of having high performance communication options in its portfolio.
The body of the handset has been built along the lines of the Ferrari 458. It bears a red back cover which even carries air intakes like those on the hood of the actual car. The phone contains exclusive wallpapers and ringtones in its internal storage space. Moreover, buyers will also be proffered added traits like a Ferrari kit with a key ring, a leather case, a sticker and a vehicle charger.
A 3.1-inch touchscreen as well as basic specs such as an MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth technology, a 3.5-millimeter stereo headset jack have all been incorporated into the handset. And for its imaging properties, the i867 makes use of a 3MP rear camera.
“In addition to its differentiated, innovative design, the new smartphone enhances the way users manage their lives, with the practicality of PTT and Android-based technologies,” shared Wagner Mendonça, iDEN sales director, Motorola Mobility Brazil.
Along with integrated GPS and Wi-Fi, the smartphone also kicks in two microphones with noise cancellation technology. Motorola will be offering a 2GB microSD memory card along with this device, and buyers will even be able to expand its hoarding capacity further up to 32GB.
In Brazil, the Motorola i867 Ferrari will be sold for R$ 1,499, while allegiance to a Nextel data plan will bring the cost down to R$ 799.
