‘Tough yet classy’ is the claim with which the new Motorola Defy Pro will be dished out in Brazil later this month. This Android powered smartphone is dust-proof as well as water-resistant, and it even comes with a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display, owing to which it is said to be suitable for both personal and professional lifestyles.

A full QWERTY keyboard is onboard this device, along with a 2.7-inch touchscreen display. Its body features chrome finishing and is embedded with a microUSB connection and an expandable memory card slot. For easier multi-tasking, this smartphone from Motorola’s Defy range has been bestowed with instrumental dashboards that are categorized for Outdoor View, Hiking View and Workout View.

“You’re constantly on the go, whether running to the office or running around town. Finally, there’s a smartphone designed to keep up with your work and personal life. Motorola DEFY PRO is ready for anything and will never let you down,” commented Edson Bortolli, products director, Motorola Mobility Brazil.

Other features of the Defy Pro include a 5MP camera with a built-in flash and of course Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The handset also comes with the MotoPrint trait which enables users to printout their documents from their phones. And then there’s even email and VPN support, so users need not worry about someone accessing information on their phones. It will be offered with a 2GB SD card, but its memory will be expandable up to 32GB.

The Motorola Defy Pro release date in Brazil has been revealed to be July 15, 2012. Its pricing is yet to be confirmed.
