Motorola is getting ready for a big product launch event on August 2. It’s hosting the occasion at its Chicago headquarters in the US at 2 pm CDT. It hasn’t confirmed which of its phones will be arriving, but there are a few solid guesses going around.

One is the Moto Z3, the second is the Moto One Power, and the third is the Moto One. All 3 may make their debut together on August 2. The first is the brand’s flagship phone and it would make sense to release the device at its headquarters.

What’s more, Motorola rolled out a video to announce the event which talked about a “whole new way to connect, stream, download, video chat, and more.” This sounds like it has something to do with connectivity, perhaps a blazing-fast chip to accelerate network speeds.

Motorola One Rumored Features

Then there’s the One lineup. Android Headlines claims that Motorola is going to stick to its own name for the series, dubbing them the Motorola One and Motorola One Power. This would be an interesting choice and yet another reason why it’s hosting the event in its homebase of Chicago.

The publication also shared a couple of images of the Motorola phones. They pretty much fall in line with previous hands-on images. The devices are set to be the brand’s first notch-centric smartphones. There’s a significant amount of bezel at the bottom where the Motorola logo resides.

The back is where things get interesting, as the Moto One has 2 cameras separated by an LED flash unit. The Motorola One Power also has 2 lenses, but they’re kept inside a pill shape. The Moto batwing logo can be seen embedded inside a fingerprint scanner.

Finally, the Android One branding indicates that the Motorola One and Motorola One Power will run a stock version of Android and get OS updates for 2 years. Perhaps the One series is the beginning of an Android One-only lineup from the firm.

Stay tuned for more on the Motorola One, Motorola One Power, and Moto Z3 in the days leading up to the company’s August 2 launch.
