Moto Xpress is not a new phone, but a door-to-door after sales service from Motorola

There are high chances of Moto Xpress sounding like the name of a new smartphone, but it’s actually Motorola’s new initiative for offering easy service to its customers. Under this pilot program, owners of its smartphones won’t need to exit the confines of their homes in order to have them serviced.

If you have a compliant, all you’ll need to do is call Motorola and a representative will arrive at your doorstep to solve your issues. The company claims that under Moto Xpress, software and accessory related issues will be rectified on the spot within an hour, while hardware problems will be fixed within five working days, after which the handsets will be delivered to the customers.

All this does incur a cost though. You’ll need to cough up Rs 199 in order to avail of the benefits of Moto Xpress. Micromax had recently come up with a similar initiative for its Canvas Sliver 5, under which 7-day pickup and drop service is be provided free of cost.

Anyway, it should be noted that Moto Xpress applies to all Motorola smartphones that are being sold in India right now through Flipkart. The newest among the lot of course the Moto G (3rd Gen) which benefits from IP7 water resistance, 4G LTE support, a 5-inch HD monitor and other impressive specs.
