Moto X Walnut edition finally sets its foot in India, priced at Rs 25,999

The Moto X went up for sale in India more than a month ago, but its Walnut edition featuring a natural wood back has been released only today. As every wood grain is different, customers can expect their respective handsets to also be different from one another. And apart from distinct grains, the gadget employs natural finishes too.

Although it is highly customizable, those customization options are only available in the US and will soon arrive in Europe. Interested customers in India can choose from shades like black, white, royal blue, red and turquoise as well as wood panel variants like Teak and Walnut. Only the 16GB version of the Moto X has been launched in India exclusively via Flipkart.

Under the hood, you will find a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor which can clock in a maximum speed of 1.7GHz. There’s 2GB of RAM as well, and the phone draws power from a 2200mAh battery for keeping it charged up for an entire day. It makes the most of the Android KitKat 4.4 OS.

This smartphone featuring touchless controls and voice recognition, flaunts a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen of 1280 x 720p resolution and a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass keeps unwanted scrapes and scratches at bay. A 10MP camera with full HD recording capability and a 2MP webcam have been tossed into the mix for photography and video calling purposes.
