Motorola knows no end to make its Moto X smartphone more desirable. The American company has now announced a new range of customization options called College Collection. What’s more, these new designs are available for the regular $399 price.
The new collection comprises of 9 college-inspired colors and there are three new styles as well. The latest customization options have been made available in a separate College Collection gallery. The company is offering pre-configured shades and there are even clear cases up for grabs that come with school logos and team names from a total of 40 schools. Also, you’ll be able to create your own color combinations. While the new shades are available for everyone, college students are being treated to an attractive discounted price of $339.
This amount is a bit higher than the Sweet Deal promo that Motorola started last month, but it’s still better than nothing. To avail this offer, college students will have to register a valid .edu address online at motorola.com/college. The latest customization options are obviously limited to the US only, so don’t expect to find it in the Moto Maker in Europe. Additionally, the company also plans to make the flagship available in India and Australia soon.
The $399 price is for the unlocked 16GB Moto X. Potential buyers can also pick up the phone in the College Collection shades for $49 and a new two-year contract. A full list of pre-configured options are available at this link.
