Moto X Play hits India affixed with an attractive price tag

Motorola has just announced that the Moto X Play will start being sold in India from midnight tonight at Rs 18499. As usual, Flipkart will be the only place from where you’ll be able to buy this device, and the e-commerce giant indeed has some exciting launch offers lined up for buyers.

Rs 18499 is how much you’ll be paying for the 16GB variant of the new Moto X Play, while there will even be a 32GB model that will be available for purchase at Rs 19999. That’s a Rs 1500 increase in the retail value over that of the lower storage model.

Motorola had unveiled this dual SIM 4G smartphone in July alongside the Moto X Style and the Moto G (Gen 3). While the latter has already entered India, the former is still to set foot here. The Style is a pretty high-end device with a Quad HD display and other advanced features, and can be expected to land in the country during the festive season.
