If you’ve signed up for Moto X alerts, then you already know that the smartphone will be going for $299.99 in a 24-hour sale tomorrow. $299.99 will be the off-contract cost of the device which is normally priced at almost $100 higher.
The 24-hour special offer will kick off on May 1 at 12:01 a.m. ET and covers the 16GB, 32GB and Developer Edition versions of the Moto X. The email notification telling us about the sale notes that the price of the 16GB off-contract iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S5 are $649 and $649.99, respectively.
Droid Life also has the reduced prices for the 32GB capacity phone and its Developer Edition. These will be pegged at $324.99 each. The discounted cost does not mean the Moto X+1’s debut is right around the corner. The current model has been through many ups and downs in retail tags since its launch. So we wouldn’t read too much into tomorrow’s deal.
