Moto Maker comes to Republic Wireless, Wood finishes available now for Moto X

Republic Wireless has finally collaborated with Motorola to offer Moto Maker to its customers and the operator says that full suite of customization options are now available for the Moto X. Potential buyers can get a fully-customized smartphone for under $400 without signing a contract. It goes without saying that users can choose from various options for back and front panels, accent colors, wallpapers, accessories and more.

Moto X

27 different colors are available for the back panel in addition to bamboo or natural wood finish such as teak, ebony or walnut, while you can choose between black and white shades for the front. It is possible to get a name or a message carved on the phone and choose a color for power key, volume key and camera bezel. And once you are done designing the smartphone, go for matching accessories as well.

Moto Maker also synchronizes your Google accounts for you so you can start using mobile services right out of the box. A personal default wallpaper can also be selected and the device will be available in two memory configurations of 16GB and 32GB.
