The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus have both gotten leaked in a series of images sourced from a case maker. Roland Quandt of winfuture.de posted the images via his Twitter handle, noting that the photos appear to be based on preliminary renders from Lenovo/Motorola.
The pictures seem to mostly fall in line with previously leaked press renders and live images of the Moto G5 Plus. The phone bears unmistakable similarities to its predecessor and Motorola’s flagship Moto Z series, especially with regards to the prominent camera module on the back.
Only the Moto G5 Plus has been the subject of rumors for the past few weeks, with little talk of the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Play, if there is one. In terms of specifications, the top-tier iteration is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Its physical home button might do double duty as a fingerprint scanner.

The Moto G5 Plus could carry a 5.5-inch display which outputs a full HD resolution. The handset’s processing power might come from a Snapdragon 625 SoC and Adreno 506 GPU. Users may be able to take advantage of 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
As for its photography skills, Motorola will probably equip the smartphone with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing shooter. The company is apparently going to fit it with a 3080mAh battery to fuel its operations. An earlier FCC listing had listed a 2GB of RAM variant of the device, possibly the regular or Play model.
The Moto G5 series is set to make its debut on February 26 at a pre-MWC 2017 event.
