Moto G down to just $50 on Verizon pre-paid, limited time offer

So who’s in for a new sweet Moto G deal? Just a few days back we reported that Motorola’s most successful smartphone was on sale through Amazon for just $70 off-contract with a Verizon pre-paid connection. Well, the phone’s price has been increased to $89.99, but we’ve got an even sweeter deal for you.

Spotted by Unwired View, Best Buy is offer the very same handset at just $50. For this amount, you get the fabulous Moto G without any contract. The downside here is that the phone has 8GB storage and will only be usable on Verizon with one of its prepaid plans. And no, it doesn’t have 4G LTE. That model will cost you $219 and it also tags along a microSD card slot. Another worthy mention is that Best Buy only has the phone in black.

Motorola Moto G

Even with Motorola’s love affair with Google ended, the company is still offering timely updates with the latest versions of Android. While 4.4.3 KitKat recently started rolling out to Nexus and GPE devices, the entire Moto lineup has also started receiving the update which would normally take months for other OEMs to deliver.

Here’s a quick look at the specifications:

– Platform: Android 4.4.3 KitKat
– Display: 4.5-inch 720p HD LCD
– Processor: 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 400
– Connectivity: HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi
– Memory: 1GB RAM, 8GB storage
– Camera: 5MP rear, 1.3MP front
– Battery: 2070mAh

$50 for the Moto G sans any contract is by far one of the best offers we’ve seen. Best Buy notes that the phone is ‘on sale’ which means that the reduced price is a limited time offer, so don’t be too slow in deciding.
