Moto G gets cheaper: Grab a Rs 2,000 discount in exchange for your old smartphone

Flipkart has introduced a new buyback deal for one of its premier products, the Moto G. The website is now offering a discount of Rs 2,000 to all those who are willing to surrender their old smartphones while buying for themselves the new Motorola device.

This offer applies to both the 8GB and 16GB versions of the Moto G. You can head over to the device’s Flipkart page and check whether your current smartphone is eligible for the discount or not. Devices by Nokia, Samsung, BlackBerry, Apple, Sony, Micromax, Karbonn, Xolo, Motorola, HTC and Lava are being supported under this deal.

Moto G

Once you buy the Moto G off the website, Flipkart will collect your old smartphone. There’s a Rs 50 charge for this which is quite nominal compared to the discount that’s on offer. This handset from Motorola has been a big hit ever since it was released in India earlier this year. The main reason for the same is the fact that it kicks in a premium list of features that’s offered at an ultra-affordable price.

At Rs 12,499 (8GB) or Rs 13,999 (16GB), the device grants you the benefits of an HD display, the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, a quad core processor and much more. If you’re interested in buying the Moto G anytime soon, do make sure to check if your current phone is eligible for the newly announced discount here.
