Moto G Forte goes official, nothing but a Grip Shell clad model

After chatter in the industry started referring to the rumored Moto G Forte as a rugged model of the much popular smartphone, the news that it’s just a Grip Shell covered version of the original device comes are quite a damper. This device is being sold now bundled with the said case and can be purchased now in Mexico alone.

The Moto G Forte has quietly gone on sale through Mexican carrier Nextel, as reported by Android Central. The Grip Shell which it comes dressed in was launched by the company along with the device itself, priced at $19.99. But the fact that the phone now comes packed with it adds more value for money to the whole deal.

Consumers in Mexico can now buy the Moto G Forte through Nextel with a two-year agreement at a price of 600 MXN. This amount translates to about $46.
