Motorola it seems is feeling the heat from all the Chinese smartphones that have disrupted the Indian smartphone market lately, and has hence brought down the price of its entry-level Moto E (Gen 2) smartphone by Rs 1000. Its 3G version can now be bought at Rs 5999, while its 4G variant can be purchased at Rs 6999.
These devices have been given permanent drops in their retail values on Flipkart. It should be noted that those interested in buying a 3G version of the Moto E (Gen 2) can get it at just Rs 3999 if they have a worthy enough handset to exchange. For those wondering, the first generation variant of this Motorola offering can be found selling at Rs 4999 right now.
The new Moto E (Gen 2) was launched by the American company back in February this year in the form of 3G and 4G models.
