A new leak on the OnePlus 8 Pro appears to confirm some details we think we already know about the device so far. As for the launch date, the OnePlus 8 and its Pro version are likely to be unveiled in March or April, depending on how the MWC 2020 plays out.
OnePlus CEO, Peter Lau, had previously teased the refresh rate on the upcoming devices on Twitter. It’s going to sport a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The latest rumor mentions an AMOLED 120Hz screen of 6.5 inches on the Pro model, but does not confirm whether it’ll be at QHD resolution or lower.
What the report does highlight is a list of its internals which include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB of RAM. The storage options are likely to offer users 128GB or 256GB memory, and Android 10 will be running the show.

Another specification noted in the leak is a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charging. OnePlus’ Warp Charge 30T is capable of delivering 70% of 30W power to a OnePlus 7T at 0% battery in 30 minutes. We can assume 50W fast charging will be even more delicious.
Apart from the aforementioned specs, the leak also shows a triple-camera setup along with the now-popular 3D ToF (time-of-flight) and other sensors on the rear panel of the upcoming OnePlus 8.
Several different renders of the next OnePlus flagship have been circulating on the internet. While they seem to differ on their opinion of the positioning of front-facing camera on the device, they at least agree that it will be a punch-hole style one.
There’s no concrete information with regards to the price of the OnePlus 8 Pro or OnePlus 8 as yet. We will keep you updated as more details emerge.
