Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 is due to make its first appearance on August 9, but that hasn’t stopped an Indonesian retailer from advertising pre-orders for the handset. Twitter leakster Bang Gogo has uploaded a poster for the handset which reveals its cost and design details.
Going by the promo, the 128GB Galaxy Note 9 will set buyers back IDR 13500000 (approx $940 or Rs 64400). The 512GB model could increase the price to IDR 17500000 (approx $1215 or Rs 83500). Only these 2 options have been listed, lending more weight to rumors that Samsung is ditching the phone’s 64GB and 256GB variants.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Colors and Specs
As per the poster, the Galaxy Note 9 will be available in Artisan Copper, Mystic Black, and Engineered Blue. Indonesian buyers who place a pre-order for the device are set to get various goodies like a free 40-inch Samsung Smart TV. Promotional offers will vary by country of course, so not every market will get a free TV thrown into the mix.
There aren’t any specs listed, but it’s safe to say the Galaxy Note 9 will pack features like a 4000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 845/Exynos 9810 processor. There might be a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display up front.
The biggest difference between the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy Note 9 might be the S Pen. The new-and-improved stylus has a brand new yellow-gold-blue color scheme for the Engineered Blue variant. It’s also gotten equipped with Bluetooth support.
Speculation indicates that this may improve a user’s gaming experience or allow for remote photo clicking. AllAboutSamsung recently shared an image comparing the old S Pen with the new one. Other than the striking color difference, it’s also very clear that the latter is much more angular.
Stay tuned for more on the Galaxy Note 9 as its launch date fast approaches.
