The Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus have officially made their way to India. The two are the global versions of the Nokia X6 and Nokia X5, both of which initially came out in China.

The key difference between the international and Chinese models is the OS. The Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus are part of Google’s Android One program. This means both run on a stock version of the software and are eligible for at least 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of monthly security updates.

As for the difference between the Nokia 5.1/6.1 and their new Plus counterparts, look no further than the display. The Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus boast of a notch design and thinner bezels. There are also updated internal specs like a MediaTek Helio P60 processor and Snapdragon 636 SoC, respectively.

Nokia 6.1 Price

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is being paired with a Rs 15999 price tag, just Rs 500 more than the Nokia 6.1’s 3GB/32GB variant. The newer handset has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM inside, so it’s offering more bang for your buck, as long as you don’t mind cutouts on your screen. There’s also a 4GB/64GB version of the Nokia 6.1, but that costs Rs 17499.
