It’s been about a month since the K8 Note made its way to India, and Lenovo has now chosen to launch two more additions to the K lineup in the form of the K8 and K8 Plus. The two are smaller than the former, but come with the same pure Android promise.
The K8 Plus will be sold via Flipkart starting from September 7 at 12 pm. It’s been priced at Rs 10999 for its 3GB of RAM variant, with another 4GB one on the way. That particular model will be called the K8 Plus Holiday Edition and it’s set to hit markets during Diwali.
The Lenovo offering features the same 13MP Purecel Plus sensor + 5MP depth sensor pairing on its back as the Rs 12999 K8 Note. The phone is capable of adjusting depth settings while a photo is being clicked. There’s also an 8MP front-facing snapper with a Party Flash tool and 84-degree wide-angle lens.
As for the K8, the handset is similar to the K8 Plus except that it’s powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 CPU, offers a 5.2-inch 720p screen, and sports a single 13MP camera on the rear. Lenovo has chosen not to disclose the device’s cost and availability details right now, though it will eventually arrive in offline outlets.
