We’ve already seen pictures of the HTC 10 smartphone, and we already know most of its main specs but the company will of course want to unveil the device officially and it as chosen April 12 to be the date on which that will happen. This new handset has been scheduled to be showcased in New York, London and Taipei on the said date.
What’s unclear though is whether HTC will be holding grand events at these locations or just revealing the 10 handset online. Since it hasn’t sent out any invitations yet, it’s not clear what is going to happen.
The HTC 10 is the Taiwanese firm’s best bet right now to find a way out of the crisis it’s currently in due to weak sales. And it has apparently left no stone unturned in creating an all-round powerful smartphone.

It has equipped the handset with what it calls ‘world class’ cameras. Moreover, a recent report said that HTC has fitted onto its front a Super LCD 5 display which aims to offer better quality visuals than Super AMOLED panels. The display’s size is apparently set at 5.1 inches, and the resolution at Quad HD.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset has been chosen to go inside the HTC 10 by its maker. This assembly will moreover will accompanied by 4GB worth of RAM and 32GB worth of storage space in addition to a microSD card slot. Lastly, a 3000mAh battery pack also seems to have made its way inside the upcoming device.
We’ll now have to cool our heels until April 12 in order to grab our first official glimpse of the HTC 10 handset. Stay tuned till then to know more about it.
