LG G5 price in India revealed, available for pre-booking now

It seems LG has finally decided it’s time to launch its G5 flagship in India, even as it has put the smartphone on pre-booking through online and offline channels from today onwards. More importantly, we now know that the device will be priced at Rs 52990, and will give pre-ordering customers a free CAM Plus accessory.

This retail value has been revealed by Flipkart which is the only online portal that is allowing you to pre-book the handset right now. You can do the same via offline retail stores and LG braded stores as well. The G5’s estimated release date has been mentioned to be June 1.

The CAM Plus accessory that will come bundled with pre-orders is basically a grip meant for using the phone as a camera. It offers physical buttons for photography and also comes with its own battery, which means you can use it also as a secondary battery for your G5.

The G5 itself boasts of a 5.3-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB worth of RAM. Its unique dual camera setup consisting of a 16MP (f/1.8) unit and an 8MP (f/2.4) one contributes towards creating GoPro-like wide angle shots.
