OnePlus has launched a new exchange scheme offer for anyone looking to buy one of its handsets in India. The brand has partnered with ReGlobe and Amazon for the venture and is promising a buyback value of up to Rs 16000 on the old phone.
To recall, OnePlus had launched a similar exchange scheme with ReGlobe a couple of months ago. The rules are a bit different now, but the offer is still applicable for the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X as before. This time round, interested buyers will have to purchase one of the phones first before embarking on the buyback process.
Once bought, they’ll have to note the Order ID, head over to the purchased mobile page in Amazon, tap on the Mobile Buyback offer, and agree to the terms and conditions. The individual will then be redirected to the ReGlobe website, where they’ll have to enter the details of the smartphone they wish to hand over and input the Order ID of the new OnePlus handset.

After evaluating the area serviceability, buyback availability and final price, the purchaser has to key in their contact information. ReGlobe is then supposed to call them to arrange a pick-up time. The company promises to give cash on the spot for the old handset. Note that the quoted buyback rate may change on actual inspection.
This depends entirely on factors like the actual condition, age and functional defects of the old phone. If the customer is not satisfied with the re-quoted amount, they have the option to not sell the device to ReGlobe. You can find out more about the OnePlus exchange scheme here.
