Lava launches two sub-Rs 4000 smartphones

Lava has just gone ahead and launched two new Android handsets in India, which come in the form of the Flair S1 and the A52. Both these affordable smartphones can be picked up by interested parties at prices below the Rs 4000 mark.

First let us talk about the Lava Flair S1 which is pictured above. This stylish device has a metallic finish and a distinguishing camera band on its rear surface. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and plays host to a 4.5-inch 480 x 854 pixel display. Although its official price is Rs 4349, it’s being sold for Rs 3799 by Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.

This dual SIM Lava handset is supportedby a 1.3GHz dual core processor, 512MB worth of RAM, 8GB of storage and a microSD card slot. There’s a 3.2MP camera present on its rear surface, whereas a VGA snapper occupies space on its front. As for the battery, it’s a 1750mAh unit which promises over 8 hours of 3G talktime.

The next Lava smartphone that has arrived onto the scene is the A52. This dual SIM device has gone for a 4-inch display bearing a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Android 5.1 Lollipop is its preferred OS, whereas the processing duties are handled by a 1.3GHz dual core CPU. This handset has its price set at Rs 3599.

Like we said, the Lava Flair S1 is already being sold at a discounted rate by e-retailers in India. On the other hand, the A52 is still be made available, but that won’t take much time to happen.
