Intex has added yet another LTE-ready phone to its growing lineup in the form of the Aqua 4G Strong. The company has been devoting a lot of attention to launching entry-level 4G phones for the masses recently, with last month seeing the release of the Aqua Raze and Aqua Wing.
The Intex Aqua 4G Strong is the cheapest of the 3 with its Rs 4499 price tag. While the smartphone is currently listed on the brand’s website without any availability details, online retailers like Snapdeal and Amazon are vending the device right now. The latter is notably selling it for slightly cheaper at Rs 4479.
The top feature of the Aqua 4G Strong is its LTE connectivity and support for VoLTE (voice over LTE). Otherwise, it’s a pretty run-of-the-mill budget offering. It sports a 4-inch screen which outputs its visuals in a WVGA (480 x 800p) resolution at a pixel density of 233ppi. A 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor takes care of the phone’s operations.
The SoC is assisted in its endeavors by an unusual 768MB of RAM. The dual-SIM Intex handset further presents users with 4GB of internal memory, with only 609MB of that meant for customer use. This will probably necessitate the purchase of a memory card, adding to the overall cost of the device.
